Anxiety
What is anxiety?
Anxiety is a feeling of unease, worry, or fear that can range from mild to severe. It is a natural response to stress or uncertainty and is often characterised by physical symptoms such as a racing heart, sweating, dizziness, or difficulty breathing.

Ways of Managing Anxiety
Here are some effective ways to manage anxiety:

- Deep, slow breathing can help counter the physical effects of anxiety. The "4-7-8" technique is simple and effective: inhale for 4 seconds, hold for 7 seconds, and exhale for 8 seconds.

- Regular exercise can improve sleep quality, reduce muscle tension, and give you a sense of control over your body and mind.

- Writing down your thoughts and feelings can be an effective way to process anxiety. Journaling can help you gain insight into the sources of your anxiety, track patterns, and organise your thoughts in a way that feels more manageable.
